School-Based Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician - Newton

We have a great opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Full Time School-Based MCI Clinician! Join our growing 24-hour emergency services team working in a fast-paced environment to develop and sharpen your clinical skills - evaluating a broad range of individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and clinical presentations.
You will participate in the daily operation of MCI, including telephone triage, crisis intervention (including evaluation, stabilization, referral, and follow-up) based at City of Newton Public Schools, in the Newton community, as well as acting as a liaison with community providers for continuity of care.
Orientation to MCI is provided, with particular attention to diagnosis, safety assessment, and awareness of resources dependent on level of care. Clinical supervision is available as well as collaboration with licensed senior clinicians.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
Pay Rate
- Unlicensed/LCSW Clinician - $35.69/hour
- Independent Licensure - $38.25/hour

Required Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Basic computer fluency including Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related human service field
- Two years experience in the field of mental health preferred.
- Experience with children and knowledge of the youth system of care
Salary : $36 - $38
