Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development and educational technology integration.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support diverse learning styles and individual needs.
- Assess student progress regularly by monitoring performance data, conducting formative and summative evaluations, and adjusting instruction accordingly.
- Deliver engaging lessons in literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects tailored to young children’s developmental stages.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists—including those experienced in special education and working with children with autism—to support each child's unique learning journey.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance data, attendance, and behavioral observations in compliance with educational regulations.
- Support early intervention efforts by identifying students needing additional assistance and coordinating appropriate tutoring or library services.
- Be familiar with Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings or private schools.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles, learning styles adaptability, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing procedures, and educational compliance standards.
- Experience with educational technology tools such as interactive whiteboards, learning management systems, and digital resources.
- Training or certification in early intervention strategies or special education is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students individually or in small groups to support literacy skills, math proficiency, and social-emotional growth
