Riverside Cemetery – Groundskeeper
Riverside Cemetery, located in Appleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a dependable and
hardworking groundskeeper / equipment operator to join our team. This full-time position
is responsible for maintaining the beauty, safety, and appearance of cemetery grounds
while operating a variety of landscaping and excavation equipment.
Position Responsibilities
Operate and maintain lawn mowing and other landscaping and excavating equipment.
Assist with grave openings and closings.
Maintain cemetery roads, walkways, monuments, and grounds.
Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping features.
Remove debris and snow as needed.
Assist with cemetery set-ups and special events when necessary.
Qualifications
Experience operating a 360° zero-turn lawn mower.
Experience or ability to quickly learn operating a backhoe.
Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, cemetery, or related outdoor maintenance
experience preferred.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical outdoor work in various weather
conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Employment Details
