Finish Carpenter/Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finish Carpenter/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finish carpentry and installation work on various residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet high standards of quality, craftsmanship, and safety. You will collaborate with project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to deliver exceptional results that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of each space.

Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation tasks.
• Install trim, cabinetry, doors, stairs, railing, beams, T&G and other finish elements with precision.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, assemble, and install various materials.
• Perform framing work including wood framing as needed for project scope.
• Ensure proper caulking, sealing, and other finishing touches are completed to industry standards.
• Follow construction plans meticulously while adhering to safety protocols such as power tool safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; manage heavy lifting tasks safely during material handling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in finish carpentry, trim carpentry, framing (metal or wood), cabinetry installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying or related construction fields.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and interpret construction plans accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools with a focus on safety procedures.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites with varying conditions.
• Familiarity with roofing systems, siding installation (including stucco), metal stud framing, plumbing or electrical experience is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship on every project.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to travel between job sites as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
