Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with a friendly attitude, adhering to food safety standards
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and service ware
- Buss tables promptly during events to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests, providing excellent customer service throughout the event
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining high standards
- Clear tables after events, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
Requirements
- Prior experience in the food industry or banquet service preferred; hospitality or restaurant experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and food safety regulations
- Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with catering or large-scale food service operations is advantageous
- Basic understanding of culinary practices and food presentation techniques
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
