Duties
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes using appropriate oils and filters, ensuring proper disposal of used materials
- Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and communicate findings to customers
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
Experience
- Dealership or automotive repair shop experience preferred, with a strong foundation in automotive diagnostics and mechanical work
- Prior mechanic or service technician experience is highly valued, demonstrating familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of automotive service standards, including oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general maintenance
- Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards helping clients understand their vehicle needs
- Basic sales skills are a plus for recommending additional services to customers
