Social Media Marketing Intern

Rivers of Hope Counseling is an e-therapy company founded by Charmaine Dockett, dedicated to bringing hope and healing through accessible counseling services. We connect individuals and families with compassionate care from the comfort of their own homes. Our client-centered approach focuses on fostering positive change and mental wellness, helping those we serve lead healthier, more balanced lives.

We’re seeking a Social Media Intern who is passionate about content creation, digital marketing, and mental health awareness. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in building and managing a brand’s social media presence while contributing to a meaningful mission.

Note: We are looking for candidates located in the Southwest Florida (SWFL) area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Support marketing campaigns and promotions to increase brand visibility
• Monitor social media trends and help develop creative strategies to engage our audience
• Collaborate with the team on graphics, videos, and other digital assets

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with social media marketing and digital marketing principles
• Strong content creation and storytelling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creativity and awareness of emerging social media trends
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills (preferred, but not required)
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, organized, and a team player
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, or related program
