** $3000.00 SIGN ON BONUS ** - RIVERS EDGE is seeking a qualified individual to run and operate a heavy-duty wrecker/tow truck. HEAVY TOWING EXPERIENCE AND CLASS-A CDL ARE REQUIRED. The Heavy-Duty Tow Operator/Driver will be driving a Heavy-Duty Wrecker, Rollback, and/or Dovetail with a GVWR rating of more than 26,000 pounds. On-Call availability is required. Additional duties will be required as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operations will include winch outs, decking/un-decking trucks and towing throughout the region
- Safely operate industrial trucks or tractors
- Inspect trucks before and after use
- Communicate need for maintenance or repair
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Monday-Friday - Must be able to work after hours as necessary, including on-call as needed
Qualifications:
- Class A CDL is required
- Previous towing experience is required
- Mechanical Experience a big plus
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must Pass DOT physical, pre-employment and random drug screens as well as a criminal background check
