**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Early Child Care PM Manager to join our team in Altoona, WI and oversee afternoon and evening operations within a child care center, ensuring a safe, organized, and nurturing environment for children, families, and staff. This role supports daily classroom management, staff supervision, parent communication, and center closing procedures.
The ideal candidate is organized, nurturing, and passionate about supporting children, families, and staff while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise afternoon and evening child care operations
- Support teachers and staff with classroom management and transitions
- Ensure children’s safety, health, and well-being at all times
- Maintain licensing standards and center policies
- Communicate with parents during pick-up and provide updates as needed
- Manage staff schedules, breaks, and afternoon coverage
- Assist with behavior guidance and conflict resolution
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Oversee end-of-day routines and center closing procedures
- Support curriculum activities and positive child development
**Qualifications:**
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is necessary for this position.
- Relevant experience and in early childhood education settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
