Job Summary:
Responsible for providing beverage service to all casino customers in an efficient courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service.
Available Shift:
Swing Shift: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM and 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing beverage service to all casino customers in an efficient courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service.
- Picks up empty glasses and returns them to the proper area.
- Assists in the preparation of drink orders as required (icing glasses, garnishing drinks).
- Works in assigned area, taking drink orders, presenting drinks to customers, accepting payment, and giving change when necessary.
- Maintains a clean station at all times and performs assigned side work duties such as stocking coffee, glasses, cream, sugar, beverage napkins, etc.
- Cleans and replaces dirty ashtrays.
- Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
- Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
- Knows the menu items, specials, and prices.
- Takes orders accurately and completely.
- Knows the current wine list and has an understanding of the different wines.
- Completes all side work and other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
- Offers assistance to all guests regardless of where they are seated.
- Upholds standards by setting examples with appearance and work ethic.
- Works to ensure a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
- Handles any guest’s complaints or problems promptly and courteously.
- Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner, and immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report if a personal accident does occur.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Ensures thorough communication between shifts.
- Remains up to date on all Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Understand that schedules are subject to change.
- Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and departmental procedures.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
- Performs all other duties specified or assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills as well as the ability to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have money-handling experience and basic math skills.
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
- Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
- Must also possess a cooperative, helpful, and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
- Is always clean and neat, in proper uniform, including nametags, I.D. badge, and slip-resistant shoes.
- Reports to work on time; signs and swipes in properly.
- Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
- Ability to attend and pass Care (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively).
- Understands and adheres to the Cut Off Procedures.
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests.
- Ability to be a TEAM player.
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least twenty (25) pounds at one time and grip necessary items (glasses, pens, pads, garnishments, money, etc.)
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods as well as bend, stoop, and twist while serving cocktails.
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
