Responsibilities:
- Serve as the system administrator for the inventory and purchasing system, overseeing its functionality and performance.
- Establish and maintain a standardized naming convention for the inventory and purchasing system item master.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive SOP manual with training guides for users across all departments.
- Collaborate with users to implement and manage order profiles in all functional areas.
- Work closely with Culinary Production to establish and maintain a recipe system.
- Support Food & Beverage management in implementing and managing menu costing and reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison with the current vendor for the inventory purchasing system.
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct regular comparisons between physical inventory counts and system records, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Perform periodic cycle counts and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Investigate inventory irregularities by verifying source documentation.
- Provide inventory-related information to accounting and purchasing departments, including levels, pricing, and turnover.
- Verify and correct receiving, issuing, and transfer documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control.
- Proficiency in inventory and purchasing system applications, with knowledge of Red Rock being advantageous.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Warehouse Operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays, and travel for training as needed.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds frequently
