- Utilizes basic ingredients to perform basic cooking techniques according to established recipes; sautéing, grilling, frying, roasting, and/or preparation of basic dough to create pastries, cakes and baked goods
- Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking.
- Observes and tests foods being cooked to determine that it is cooked.
- Carves meats, portions food on serving plates, adds sauces and garnishes to complete food order.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three or more years related experience and/or training preferred.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
- Regularly required to see, hear and smell; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under occasional fast paced and hot working conditions.
