Manager/key holder/cashier

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive manager and a 2nd key holder to join our retail team. This multifaceted role combines leadership, customer service, and operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of our store. As a manager of the team, you will oversee daily store operations, manage staff, POS transactions, reordering, processing orders, stocking, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. The 2nd key holder position will require the same exceptional service, POS transactions, stocking, open/close store, and more. Responsibilities for Manager position:

(2nd Key holder position will support the manager in daily operations of the store)

• Lead daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
• Supervise and motivate retail staff, providing training, coaching, and development to foster a high-performing team
• Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to optimize product availability and presentation
• Handle cash register operations using POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation at shift end
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming shopping experience
• Oversee store safety protocols as a Key Holder, including security checks and emergency procedures
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and maintaining employee orientation programs
• Support sales management efforts through effective pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales tracking
• Maintain organized bookkeeping records related to payroll, sales reports, and inventory transactions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards while managing store budgets and scheduling

Qualifications for Manager:

• Proven supervisory or managerial experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team management
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management tools, and retail math for accurate pricing and stock control
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and team leadership
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new staff, and employee training & development
• Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, and basic financial management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through strong organizational skills and time management
• Knowledge of retail industry sales strategies such as merchandising, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns
• Basic math skills for cash handling accuracy and operational calculations
• Previous experience in grocery or general retail stores is advantageous but not required

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 40.0 per week
