What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Aide position at RiverMead?
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Facilities team as a Facilities Aide. As a Facilities Aide, you will maintain our facilities' cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Your responsibilities will include performing general maintenance tasks, monitoring inventory, and assisting with various facilities-related duties. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:
- Assists in preparing apartments/cottages for new occupancy.
- Responsibilities include painting, basic repairs to mechanical systems, minor repairs to and installation of household appliances, light carpentry and plumbing work, and wall repair.
- Performs general repairs and maintenance in all buildings,s including preventative maintenance.
- Assists with residents' move-in service by performing functions such as hanging pictures, moving furniture, etc.
- Maintains grounds, performing seasonal duties as directed.
- Participates in the snow removal process as directed.
- Please note that you must be available for a rotating on-call schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of two years related experience in general repairs and maintenance preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals.
- Ability to complete basic math calculations accurately.
- A valid NH driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be self-directed and dependable.
- Must be a team player with a can-do attitude!
