Position overview:
The Personal Video Teller provides exceptional service and support to members through Interactive Teller Machinery and email. The PVTI also completes routine financial transactions while utilizing consultative selling techniques to recommend products and services that best meet members’ needs. A courteous, professional demeanor, technical aptitude, and attention to detail are essential in this role.
Primary responsibilities:
- Displays an engaging, on-screen presence, positive attitude, and effective communication style through video conferencing.
- Assists members with a wide variety of transactions, account maintenance, and handles general inquiries and information requests.
- Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service to members while processing their transactions. Maintains and balances virtual cash drawer.
- Utilizes consultative selling skills to identify member needs and make appropriate recommendations.
- Learns and maintains technological skills for the operation of the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM).
- Ability to balance and prioritize a variety of tasks and member service issues.
- Adheres to all risk mitigation processes and procedures.
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years financial institution or retail sales experience.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies, processes, and procedures in a timely manner; Ability to seamlessly operate multiple computer systems simultaneously.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and ability to effectively communicate via email and video conference.
- Must be available to work 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday on-site for initial 5-6 weeks of training.
- After training, must be available to work between the hours of 8:45 a.m. and 6:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, including alternating Saturdays 9:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
- After 90-days, this position is intended to become a hybrid work model with two days on-site required.
- Spanish speaking skills required.
