Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, providing outstanding customer service and expert advice on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Assist with organizing and managing golf events, tournaments, and special outings to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organize inventory, and restock merchandise efficiently to enhance the shopping experience
- Support outdoor activities by ensuring safety protocols are followed during play and shop operations
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and manage challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
- Support event venue functions by coordinating logistics, managing crowd flow, and assisting with setup and breakdown when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments; hospitality or resort experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public settings or during event presentations
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of merchandise or equipment safely
- Knowledge of safety protocols such as first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and lifeguard experience is highly desirable
- Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions; outdoor work experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience
- Experience working with children or in event management is advantageous; theater or public speaking skills are a bonus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing; attention to detail is essential
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence and excellent guest services throughout all interactions
