Expected Start Date: Late September 2026
- Prepare athletic fields, gym spaces, and recreation facilities for practices, games, events, and ministry activities.
- Perform routine maintenance, setup, cleaning, and organization of recreation equipment.
- Monitor, track, and maintain inventory of recreation supplies and equipment.
- Assist with equipment repairs and coordinate maintenance needs as necessary.
- Ensure facilities and equipment are safe, clean, and ready for use.
- Support recreation leagues, camps, tournaments, and special events.
- Assist with event setup and teardown.
- Provide excellent customer service to church members, guests, coaches, participants, and volunteers.
- Follow safety procedures and ministry guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Recreation Director.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, moving equipment, and working outdoors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to interact positively with children, youth, adults, and volunteers.
- Previous experience in recreation, facility maintenance, athletics, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Must be an active member of a local church of like faith and fully support the Baptist Faith and Message, 2000.
- Flexible schedule.
- Primarily evening hours.
- Monday through Saturday availability required.
- Additional hours may be required for special events, leagues, tournaments, and seasonal programs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion for extended periods.
