Fine Dining Server

Job Summary
Riverhorse on Main is looking for a Fine Dining Server to join our esteemed restaurant team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest services in a fine dining environment. This role requires an understanding of culinary arts, food safety, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with established fine dining standards.
• Ensure that all tables are properly set and maintained throughout service.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food handling.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
• Complete assigned side work.

Requirements

• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary terminology.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic cash handling duties.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn more about fine dining service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
