Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop sales by generating opportunities and following through with leads from the yards, outside sales team, RBS millwork sales, and other outside sources.
- Lead project manager, overseeing installations of replacement or new construction.
- Work with installers, both employees and partners of RBS, to effectively relay the project’s scope.
- Provide recommendations for new partner companies and assist in the vetting process.
- Maintain positive working relationships with partners.
- Commit to office time regularly to discuss current and upcoming projects with the office team and resolve open issues.
- Travel throughout their assigned area, but not limited to conducting daily inspections of projects, measuring, specifying, and qualifying installation leads.
- Display or demonstrate the products using samples, literature, and websites, emphasizing relevant, salable features.
- Provide proposals and follow up with customers for the supply and installation of products.
- Estimate installation dates based on product knowledge and delivery schedules.
- Maintained detailed information in CRM-based software.
- Work with the inside office support team to coordinate the scheduling of inspections and installation.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems with product and installation in a timely and professional manner.
- Treat all customers in a courteous and friendly manner to promote the RBS core values
Qualifications
Installation Consultant
To perform this job successfully:
- HS Diploma and four to six years related field experience.
- or trade school with an equivalent combination of experience.
- Strong understanding of window and door installation process.
- knowledge of Andersen and Marvin Products preferred.
- Experience with construction, windows, doors, and best practices for installation preferred.

For compliance purposes for RI transparency, the expected salary range is $28.00 - $36.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law
