Duties

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation.
• Manage medication inventory, perform data entry into pharmacy software systems, and ensure proper storage according to pharmaceutical regulations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
• Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, inventory levels, and documentation for audit purposes.

Experience

• Prior pharmacy technician experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy software systems for data entry and medication management is essential.
• Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, drug regulation policies, and pharmacy laws at both state and federal levels.
• Proven ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations accurately while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols in acute care or community settings.
