Manufacturing Engineer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to:
Currently this position is Monday – Friday first shift. Must be willing to work off hours/days when necessary
· Maintaining/repairing automated robotic systems and software that are used to increase the efficiency of production and accuracy within the business.
· Serve as technical support for the Automated/robotic systems that are in place.
· Perform necessary maintenance, tests, and quality control.
· Complete necessary documentation.
· Troubleshoot flaws in production process. Able to replace necessary components, sensors, etc.
· Monitor automated systems to ensure maximum efficiency and mechanical function.
· Provide daily hands-on support.
· Constantly learning and staying current on latest design to improve the efficiency of equipment and operating systems.
· Manage tasks with minimal supervision.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Previous experience as an automation engineer or similar experience.
· Computer experience (programming) required.
· Analytical and critical thinking skills. Problem solving ability.
· Ability to meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of CAD software, PLC logic and function.
· Ability to evaluate integrated systems.
· Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
· Mechanical experience.
· Electrical experience.
· Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
· Degree in engineering or similar field required.
