We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Class A luxury apartment community. The ideal candidate will hold both EPA and CPO designation, ensuring top-level service for our residents. This role requires strong technical knowledge, customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and high-quality living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance requests, work orders, and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, appliances, electrical, plumbing, and general building components.
- Maintain swimming pool and related equipment in compliance with state and local health codes (CPO required).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in apartment homes and common areas with efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with make-readies, ensuring apartments are move-in ready and up to community standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
- Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with upkeep of community amenities, grounds, and common areas as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- HVAC Certification required (EPA) certification required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing or hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for rotating on-call schedule and occasional weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
