Duties
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble structural frameworks.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for framing.
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other hand tools; perform dimensional measurements for quality control.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret blueprints and schematics for remodeling or renovation projects.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Support the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to ensure precise execution on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on framing.
- Strong knowledge of wood building erection.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing comprehension.
- Hands-on experience operating power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with construction management practices and adherence to safety standards on active sites.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and layout work accurately.
- Demonstrated capability in working with wood framing.
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
