Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, pastries and other menu items according to our recipes and standards
- Operate the Aloha POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Upsell products and promote sales to enhance the customer experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with the Aloha POS system is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
