What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cheerleading Coach position at RIVERDALE HIGH?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Teaching Certificate or Practitioner’s License or
- Previous playing experience in cheerleading preferred (on college or university)
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Expertise, knowledge, and competency in basic cheerleading fundamentals
- Interest in and willingness to promote cheerleading
- Expertise, knowledge, and competency in first aid for the prevention and treatment of cheerleading injuries
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations as required by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association in cheerleading
- Willingness and interest to devote the necessary time required for after school practice, games and other related activities.
