Teacher - Secondary Math

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans for and delivers effective instruction that is fully aligned to Arkansas State Standards
• Demonstrates knowledge of the subject matter
• Accommodates individual differences and learning styles
• Uses technology and instructional resources effectively
• Demonstrates concern for students as individuals
• Aligns curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices
• Monitors and documents student achievement
• Utilizes student achievement data to guide instructional next steps
• Collaborates with colleagues as part of a professional learning community at work
• Maintains two-way communication with parents
• Participates in professional learning opportunities
• Provides for a positive classroom environment that demonstrates respect and rapport with students
• Complies with school policies, State Department of Education regulations, and supports the school district
• Adheres to standards for professional conduct
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Competencies:

• Arkansas Teaching License/ ability to obtain teaching credentials
• Citizenship, residency, or work VISA in United States required
