Job Description :

Secondary Life Skills Special Education Paraprofessional serving students grade 6-12

Help meet physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher

Physical/Mental Demands: 
Must be capable of working with students who have identified cognitive, physical and/or emotional limitations; Must be able to lift and participate in physical restraint 

Qualifications 

Education/Certification: 

High school diploma or GED

Valid Texas educational aide certificate

Salary :

Pay: 

Commensurate with experience

Retention bonus paid in Nov.

Start Date :

August 2026
