Overview:
Riverbend Transportation is currently seeking a dedicated Local Driver to join our team. As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely within the local area. This position offers a full-time schedule with competitive pay and benefits. We can entertain the idea of a part time positon as well.
- Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods to various destinations within the local area.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, following delivery schedules.
- Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent [Company Name] professionally at all times.
*Qualifications:*
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 2 years CDL Experience Required.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes.
