What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient psychotherapist position at Riverbend Integrative Trauma Treatment?
Riverbend Integrative Trauma Treatment (RITT) is an outpatient psychotherapy program providing diverse and innovative therapeutic interventions. Our customized treatments address complex issues and help individuals tap into their unique healing resources. Our staff consists of highly skilled supervisors, licensed therapists, and license-eligible RITT Fellows. Our Fellows receive supervision toward their clinical licenses and undergo intensive training in therapeutic techniques.
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Outpatient Psychotherapist based in Culpeper, VA, with some work from home flexibility. The Outpatient Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and offering relationship counseling. The therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Skills in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health
- Experience in Relationship Counseling
- Knowledge in Medicine as it relates to mental health and therapy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible as an LPC, LCSW, or equivalent
