Beacon Healthcare Group is seeking an RN for their newly opened Infection Control/Clinical Educator position located in Lexington MO.
Riverbend Heights Health & Rehabilitation has been growing over the last year, and we need to fill this position to keep up with our influx of residents. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the clinical skills of our staff through effective training and education. This position requires a strong background in healthcare, particularly in areas such as physiology, infection control, epidemiology and have a strong understanding of infectious diseases, public health principles, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff.
- Provide training and guidance to nurses on clinical procedures and best practices.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify learning needs and gaps in knowledge.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop educational goals and objectives.
- Create educational materials, such as presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Deliver educational sessions through various formats, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced modules.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Stay up to date with current healthcare practices, regulations, and advancements in nursing education with administrative responsibilities.
- On Call rotation with management Team
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or BSN) - Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in teaching or providing education to healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using technology for educational purposes
