What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ag Equipment Operator position at Riverbend Farms?
Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment for planting, spraying, cultivating,tillage, fertilizing, and harvesting of crops. Maintain machinery. Maintain bin sites and dryer systems. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities with semi and trailer. Maintain farm grounds/mow clean up equipment and bin sites. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, long days in the heat. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next days' work. 1 hour meal break Crops: corn, and soybeans There are two shifts available. 8am to 5pm and 5pm to 11pm & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
