Description:
Loan Coordinators play an instrumental part in the loan application and approval process, acting as the bridge between clients, underwriters, and financial institutions to ensure smooth and efficient transactions. Their duties encompass reviewing loan applications, verifying necessary documentation, communicating with applicants, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role demands a high level of organizational prowess, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to navigate the intricacies of loan processing.
Requirements:- Accurately process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers
- Coordinate the collection and verification of necessary loan documentation
- Communicate with loan applicants to provide updates and answer questions
- Verifying customers' identities and ensuring the paperwork is properly completed and they have sufficient funds in their accounts to cover their transactions
- Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service in person and over the phone
- Assist customers with account questions and basic troubleshooting
- Identify customer needs and refer appropriate bank products and services
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information
- Originate, document, and process loan requests from application through closing in compliance with bank policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with underwriter to ensure all required information is complete
- Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and communications
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines during the loan process
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the loan process
- Conduct initial assessment of loan applications to ensure all criteria are met
- Provide administrative support to loan officers and management team
- Saturday Rotation is required
