Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Perform automotive diagnostics and basic repairs when necessary to assist with roadside issues or vehicle recovery.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring proper handling at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and other team members during vehicle recovery or roadside assistance.
• Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including logs of vehicle pickups, drop-offs, and service details.
• Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform minor mechanical repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe operations on the road at all times.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Proficiency in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment.
• Ability to perform manual transmission driving confidently across various terrains and conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts professionally when they arise.
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures for vehicles of different sizes and types.
• Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for heavy-duty vehicles.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
