NOW HIRING – YMCA CLEANING STAFF Positions Available: 5 Cleaning Employees Rivera’s Environmental Services LLC is currently seeking five reliable, hardworking, and responsible cleaning employees to provide professional janitorial services at a YMCA facility. General Job Description Employees will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for YMCA members, staff, and visitors. Primary Responsibilities Clean and disinfect restrooms, showers, locker rooms, and changing areas. Clean fitness centers, workout equipment, and exercise rooms. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors. Clean entrances, hallways, stairways, and common areas. Sanitize frequently touched surfaces, including door handles, railings, and countertops. Empty trash containers and replace liners. Replenish restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Clean mirrors, glass doors, and interior windows. Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas. Follow YMCA safety procedures and proper chemical-handling guidelines. Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Employee Requirements Dependable and punctual. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties. Available to work assigned shifts, including weekends if required. Professional attitude and attention to detail.
