Receptionist

Chestnut Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare is now seeking a Receptionist.

Qualifications of Receptionist:

·         High school diploma or equivalent required

·         Previous Long Term Care Experience preferred

·         Valid PA ID

·         Demonstrate knowledge and skills in filing systems, telephone techniques, typing, computer skills, and other correspondence.

·         Verbal and written English communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         Be present at the front in a respectable manner.

·         Type confidential letters, memos, reports, forms, and lists as needed.

·         Greet guests and visitors and direct them appropriately.

·         Handle incoming phone calls in a professional manner and direct them to the appropriate personnel.

·         Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail including bulk/mass mailings.

·         Must adhere to Century’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.

·         Attend and participate in educational activities, in-service training, staff meetings and resident activities as needed; assist in orientation and training.

·         Collect payments.

·         Print face sheets for admissions and upon request.  Disseminate face sheet to chart, physician offices, and Pharmacy as needed.

·         Maintain an understanding of the forms within the admissions sign-in packet and with the entire admission process.

·         Practice safe working habits.

·         Complete other tasks assigned by NHA or Department Head.
