What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Aide position at River Valley Hospice?
The Team at River Valley Hospice is growing! River Valley is currently seeking a full time Home Health Aide. Our hospice aides will provide personal care, supportive services, and light household duties in a plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse Case Manager. You will communicate and track changes to reflect assigned duties in the plan of care while working with the Interdisciplinary Team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arkansas Aide license
- Minimum of one year of Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include some evenings and weekends as needed
