Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various low voltage systems including alarm systems, surveillance systems, networking infrastructure, Pro audio/video setups, and Residential AV systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and networking equipment according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform onsite assessments and collaborate with clients to design and implement low voltage solutions tailored to their needs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective resolutions to ensure optimal system performance.
- Test and inspect installed systems to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Provide training and support to clients on system operation and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation activities, including equipment inventory and work logs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
- Prefer 2 years of experience in low voltage system installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring alarm systems, surveillance cameras, networking equipment, Pro audio/video setups, and Residential AV systems.
- Strong understanding of low voltage wiring, circuitry, and electrical components.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
