What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate position at River Valley Club?
RVC is hiring part time Front Desk Associates for AM hours 4:30 am - 8:00 am. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, is a people person, and can multitask. $15-16/hour starting pay.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets and checks in all members and guests
- Sells products and services
- Answers and directs all incoming phone calls
- Fields all member complaints and concerns
- Performs opening and closing procedures for the club if assigned those shifts
- Responsible for keeping the front desk clean, neat, and orderly
- Attends departmental meetings
- Maintains professionalism at all times.
- Creates the “First Impression”
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be highly motivated and energetic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- An understanding of health club operations
- Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary
Required education, certifications and experience:
- Must have experience in customer service
- Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
