Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Intake Coordination

Schedule initial appointments for new clients in accordance with agency guidelines and clinical availability.

Gather and document accurate demographic, insurance, and referral information.

Coordinate scheduling for specialty programs and services as assigned.

Ensure appropriate provider assignment based on client needs, service type, and payer requirements.

Maintain scheduling accuracy within the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Support team needs through additional responsibilities as appropriate.
Community & Partner Coordination

Serve as the primary point of contact for hospitals, law enforcement, and other referral sources requesting evaluations or services.

Communicate clearly and professionally with community partners to facilitate timely service access.

Track and follow up on referral requests to ensure completion and documentation.
Administrative Support

Verify insurance information and communicate financial policies as needed.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of scheduling activities.

Monitor appointment availability.

Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to improve access workflows.
