Occupational Therapist

River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services. Our mission is to serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve.We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team. Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in Early Intervention services (birth to three population) in Allegheny County.As a member of the therapy department, you will work with families and other therapeutic staff and report to our administration staff.What You Will Do:Provide daily occupational therapy sessions to patients identified as requiring servicescomplete daily documentationcomplete progress reports and all required paperwork for Early Interventionmaintain communication with Early Intervention Service Coordination teamparticipate in and contribute to family and administrative meetings maintain required communication with families for the betterment of each patientregular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment successmaintain a weekly schedule for efficient scheduling and time management abilities promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for patients and familiesWhat You Will Bring:Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:Degree in Occupational Therapy and an associated license in the state of Pennsylvania excellent communication skillsprofessional and positive work ethicpassion for the field of pediatric occupational therapyexperience in problem-based learning is encouragedNew graduates are welcome to apply!
