Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure smooth service flow
- Oversee customer service standards to guarantee an exceptional guest experience
- Manage daily restaurant operations including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Conduct staff training and development programs focused on food handling, hospitality management, and customer service excellence
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control to minimize waste and optimize food management processes
- Oversee food preparation areas to ensure quality standards are maintained in both casual and fine dining settings
- Assist with kitchen management tasks when necessary, including food production coordination and catering services
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all operational areas
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a strong staff team
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
- Strong background in food service management, culinary experience, or hospitality management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing shifts effectively
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, budgeting, and food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve guest concerns professionally
- Experience in staff training & development, team management, and interviewing candidates
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in restaurant management or hotel experience is preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed; however, this role primarily focuses on shift management during operational hours
