The Role
This is a performance-driven leadership position for someone with real experience in transportation and logistics who knows how to lead people and deliver results. You will own the day-to-day operation, develop the people around you, and be measured on outcomes that move the business forward.
What You Will Own
- Terminal performance across safety, driver productivity, equipment compliance, and customer relationships.
- Developing your team through consistent coaching, honest feedback, and accountability.
- Building a culture where drivers feel respected and customers feel taken care of.
- Recruiting and retaining quality drivers while keeping turnover at or below 50%.
- Driving steady revenue and fleet growth year over year.
Target Metrics
- Revenue Per Truck Per Day: $800 minimum, $1,000 target.
- Miles Per Truck Per Week: 2,250.
- Driver Turnover: 50% or less.
- Annual Tractor and Revenue Growth: 10% to 20%.
What We Are Looking For
- Several years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations with a proven track record of leading people and delivering results.
- A driver first mindset and strong customer instincts.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and compliance basics.
- Clean background required.
- A genuine desire to grow something and the discipline to follow through.
