We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our compassionate team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners, playing a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the health of our animal patients.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival at the hospital.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Handle phone inquiries regarding services, appointments, and patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as required.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Educate pet owners on services, products, and preventative care options.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus.
