As a dependable, organized, and hands-on Housekeeping Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the daily supervision and coordination of housekeeping activities, while also performing housekeeping duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with coordinating and overseeing the daily work of housekeeping staff

• Assign and prioritize cleaning duties to ensure all areas of the facility are properly maintained

• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas

• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met

• Assist with training and orienting new housekeeping employees

• Help ensure adequate housekeeping supplies are available and properly stored

• Monitor the proper use of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment

• Follow infection-control, sanitation, and safety procedures

• Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, assisted living facility, hotel, or similar environment is a plus

• 6 months of prior lead or supervisory experience required

• Ability to organize daily assignments and provide directions to other housekeeping staff

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team

• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, sanitation, and safety practices

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with housekeeping, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift

Compensation:

• $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
