What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at River Ridge Dermatology?
- Assisting dermatologists with examinations
- Assisting dermatologists with procedures
- Guiding patients to the exam room
- Taking and recording patients’ vital signs, height, and weight
- Preparing and collecting lab specimens for testing
- Documenting physical examination findings
- Sanitizing and preparing exam rooms for patients
- Administering injections ordered by the dermatologists
- Preparing patients for surgical procedures (skin tag removal, excisions, chemical peels, and biopsies)
- Assisting dermatologists with cosmetic procedures, such as Botox and filler treatment
- Must be willing to work in all locations (Blacksburg, Roanoke, Narrows and Salem) if needed.
- Medical experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
