Budtender (Part-Time)

Pine Belt Medicinal is part of River Remedy, Mississippi's leading vertically integrated medical cannabis company. We're hiring a Part-Time Budtender for our Hattiesburg dispensary. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll guide them to the right products while making sure every sale meets state regulations.

Reports To: General Manager

What You'll Do

- Welcome patients and create a comfortable, informative experience

- Explain strains, product types, and consumption methods

- Answer patient questions and address concerns professionally

- Verify patient identification and eligibility per state requirements

- Follow all state and local cannabis regulations and company procedures

- Handle cash transactions accurately and enter sales in the POS system

- Complete required documentation accurately and on schedule

- Restock inventory and keep the sales floor clean and organized

What We're Looking For

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods

- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Consistent attendance and punctuality

- Availability to work any shift, including weekends

- Retail, patient service, or cannabis experience preferred

Compensation

- Starting pay: from $15.00 per hour

- Part-time, on-site position

Requirements

- Must be at least 21 years of age

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a full shift

- Must obtain and maintain a valid Mississippi Medical Cannabis Work Permit (includes background check)

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
