Qualifications:
Position Summary:
Responsible for administering and directing programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment and to produce or general utilities and their distribution systems. Works collaboratively with the Director of the Environmental Services Department to organize activities in order to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, employees, and visitors. Coordinates these activities with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Job Functions:
Organizes and directs all activities of the Maintenance Department to ensure a safe Environment of Care (EOC) for both patients and employees of River Park Hospital on the main campus of River Park Hospital and our satellite campus of Barboursville School. Responsible for administering and directing programs to maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and general utilities and their distribution systems. Works in coordination with the Director of Environmental Services in order to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for patients, employees, and visitors. Coordinates these activities with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Essential Core Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential core function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, experience, and ability necessary to perform this job.
Education: High School graduate.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience. Experience in hospital or psychiatric setting preferred.
