As the Concierge, duties will go beyond the Receptionist role by assisting residents, families, and guests by managing requests, offering recommendations, and providing personalized support to enhance their visit experience.
Essential Functions- Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following duties:
- Greet guests, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments within the organization.
- Receive, sort, and distribute US mail and packages to residents and staff
- Copy documents for department heads
- Type documents or special projects for directors and administrator
- Answer and transfer incoming phones calls
- Prepare doctor appointment reminders as needed
- Call & verify doctor appointments as needed
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, projects, special events, committees, and mandatory training as appropriate.
- Completes competency evaluations for training as required by the state or as assigned by their immediate supervisor, HR Director, or Executive Director.
- Maintains safety and health rules by participating in training along with implementing and following protocols related to OSHA & CDC regulations and Cardinal Senior Management Standards as required
Education & Knowledge Requirements- Specific education, certification, and licensure:
- High School Diploma or equivalent highly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Essential Job-Related Experience/Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, and sit occasionally
- Ability to operate computer systems and phone systems.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
