Job Description
The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, calculating bills, and processing payments using the dealership's computer system. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work accurately with numbers, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
- Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers
- Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits, and verify against all cash, checks, and credit card payments on hand at end of shift
- Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system
