Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Schedule: day shift 6:46a - 3:15p Monday- Friday and occasional Saturdays.
- Lifting, loading and unloading materials.
- Operate mobile equipment including fork lift and skid loader.
- Assist other workers as needed.
- Cleanup, sweeping, shoveling, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial/outdoor work environment.
- Ability to operate equipment under varying working conditions.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and occasional weekends.
